Deputy Manager - Financial & Mgmt Reporting - Corporate Finance (Hybrid working)
Job Summary :
The Financial and Management Reporting Deputy Manager is responsible for compliance of timelines and accuracy of monthly financial transaction processing & Reporting, S/he will also be accountable for the HuB Operations: take care of addition/deletion/reconciliation with GL to FA register with regards to Fixed Assets, activities like Intercompany confirmation & sorting out Recon differences, FX Revaluation, Interest register,etc., as part of month-end processing (period close). S/he will also be responsible for managing multiple stakeholders, respective team(s). Shall be playing a pivotal role in the FMR Reorganization of creation of the Center of Excellence (HuBs).
Job Description :- Ensure that the roles and responsibilities in the month closing and reporting process (including a required understanding of the entity's operations and appropriate accounting knowledge) are clearly defined, documented, updated, and communicated to counterparts on a timely basis
- Ensure adherence to Timeline and Accuracy SLAs and meet internal / corporate deadlines for key Corporate finance activities like FX Revaluation, Interest register run, Intercompany reconciliation, Indirect cost provisioning, etc.,
- Review and analysis of various direct /indirect cost bookings and related trends, ensuring cost recharges are properly booked between head office and other entities.
- Ensure Intercompany reconciliations are prepared and circulated as per Timelines and unreconciled items are sorted out with respective counter parts within timelines
- Support for SFRS Audit pack preparation, review of Intercompany related Schedules
- Fixed asset and IFRS 16 Lease accounting related exposure
- Result oriented and consistently drive process improvements and standardization partnering with different internal and external teams
- Support for Internal and Statutory Audits
- Come up with automation mindset to drive and initiate standardization and Automation initiatives.
- Deep understanding of the Corporate Finance function, various business models
- Effective implementation of Operational Excellence Framework
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and showcase ability to drive teams from different geographies
- Exhibit strong analytical & problem-solving skills and initiative to achieve desired outcomes
- Manage the stakeholders from different geographies and build credible relationship without compromising on the overall objective
Reporting to : Manager / Senior Manager
Profile Description :- Commerce Degree/ Equivalent degree in Finance from an institute of repute and CA with 5+ years (Preferred) /CMA with 5+ years with experience in F&A domain
- Corporate Finance/ Consolidation accounting/ Head office accounting and transition experience will be an added advantage
- Excellent understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Deep understanding of various accounting concepts - IFRS, Intercompany, FX Revaluation, Treasury management, Working Capital Management, Fixed Assets, etc.,
- Worked closely with senior stakeholders - CFO's, Finance Controllers etc
- Should be able to identify and implement Continuous Improvement Projects (Six Sigma, Lean, YB projects) to improve team's productivity and efficiency and overall quality of processes
- Extremely well versed with MS Office - Excel, Word Power Point
- Working knowledge of SAP/BPC/BO/BI would be an added advantage
- Strong domain expertise, analytical skills and logical reasoning with good leadership capabilities
