Deputy Manager - EDU (Compliance) (R&D)

Roles & responsibilities:

- Co-ordination with respective compliance agencies - India, Europe, Japan, etc for up-to-date sync

- Supporting internal & external teams on Component & Vehicle level (CL, VL) compliance requirements

- Conducting training programs for internal teams on compliance at Vehicle & Component level

- Existing & new compliance study to finalize requirements on CL, VL

- Type Approval & slot booking coordination for CL, VL

- Standards purchase as per Internal & External team requirements

- Standard under draft/yet to implement study & sync with the internal teams for implementation

- Copyright filing & registration of material used for technical & commercial activities in form of images/content.

- Infringement analysis on components used in existing/upcoming

- Patent & Design Approval filing for new novel ideas from internal teams

- Co-ordination & implementation of e-Waste & Pollution related regulation applicable for e-bike/EV components

Functional competencies Behavioural competencies:

- Technical understanding of Vehicle level type approvals -Region wise - AIS, EN, JIS, etc

- Technical understanding of Components level compliance - region wise - BIS, VDE, ROHS, CE, etc

- Technical understanding of various e-bike/EV standards

- Technical understanding on import & export related e-bike/EV customs compliance

- Technical understanding of e-waste management applicable for India, Europe, Japan, etc

- Technical understanding of Pollution board related regulatory norms applicable for e-bike/EV components

- Understanding of Warranty Terms & Conditions applicable for region wise regulatory norms

- Understanding of patent & its search, Filing, publishing, Registration of novel ideas

- Understanding of patent & its search, Filing, publishing, Registration of novel ideas

- Understanding of infringement, design approval, copyright process

- Understanding of local/International regulatory norms applicable for R&D equipment's, lab, production line, etc
