PURPOSE:

- Ensure execution of all financial activities in the branch in line with the budgets to drive profitability and achieve PMR for the branch

- Monitor the execution of credit and control policies and manage the account payable and receivables for the branch; release of credit notes and money from the branches

- Ensure discounts and allowances are implemented as per strategy across all branches and resolve executionary issues if any

- Ensure timely cash collection from trade partners to ensure lower bad debts

- Manage trade partner issues and settlements for the branch and initiate proceedings if required.

- Responsible for team building to compete in the market and meet consumer expectations.

Essential Duties and resposibilities:

Receivables :

1. Collection & banking

2. Credit limit reviews

3. Deviation approvals

4. Securitization

5. Co -ordination for trade partner appointment /closure

6. Monitoring Ageing & Overdues

7. Inoperative and legal

Inventory & Supply Chain:

1. Slow moving / obsolete.. Tracking and liquidation support

2. Defective / Graded liquidations

3. Monitoring quarterly physical verification of Inventories

4. Conducting periodic CFA Audit

Sales Support & Business partnering :

1. D&A effectiveness & identifying cause of change

2. Coordination and closure of pay for performance schemes

3. Support driving mix improvement

4. Reviewing & controlling branch SG&A

5. Connect with Trade and closure of open issues

Controls:

1. Periodic sign-offs and balance confirmations

2. Branch audit coordination and support

3. SOX adherence

4. Drive commercial discipline

Scheme Management:

1. D&A Deployment and communication

2. Analytical Insight for effective rollout of schemes

3. Validating & schemes closure

4. Issuing Credit Notes

5. Reconciliations

Service Coordination:

1. Service Inventory Related Matters

2. Follow up of overdue service receivables

3. Coordination for resolving issues related to Customer replacements

Statutory Compliances:

1. Resolution of GST reconciliation issues.

2. Indirect tax laws.. Local contact

3. Labor & Industrial laws- Local contact

4. Environment & safety laws - Local contact

Miscellaneous:

1. Custodian of branch assets

2. Branch admin support.. housekeeping

3. Training (SAP, PMR, CFA related)

4. Imprest
