AM/DM - Risk & Controls Operations - (5+ Years) - An exciting role for professionals having more than 5 years of experience in First Line of Defence, Operational Risk Control, RCSA, Incident Reporting, Root cause analysis (RCA), Reporting Location: Mumbai Your Future employer: A leading, global group with a strong foothold in specialty financial services serving millions of customers across the full spectrum. Responsibilities: 1. Reviewing and interpreting the Key controls Operating in Investments business, plan key controls assessments and conduct independent testing on Quarterly basis. 2. Supporting the production of the Risk Management documentation for Senior, understanding the Inherent risk, gauging the effectiveness of the key controls and documenting the residual risk 3. Management of Open Issues raised by Business and Audit for timely closure, reported on monthly basis using Power BI Dashboards 4. Supporting Business for AAF Audit and FCRP (Financial Close Reporting Process) Testing, Support includes identifying the relevant controls for testing and participating in the walkthroughs planned by 2nd line / Audit Teams. 5. Developing process to monitor monthly status on STIP (Short Term Incentive Pay) and controls metrics - Chasing updates on SII's, Assurance issues, Risk Events etc. Including half year and annual control assessments. 6. Managing the monthly co-ordination and preparation of Firm wide FLRC (First Line Risk & Controls) forum papers. 7. Supporting the delivery of Top Risks and associated reporting, including the tracking of Risk Appetite flags in partnership with 2nd line ERM (Enterprise Risk Management). Requirements: 1. Working experience of 5 to 8 years in Operational Risk Control for Financial Services Industry 2. Ability to design controls to mitigate the open risk 3. Experience in Line 1b / 2nd line in Financial Services Operations 4. Experience of using Risk Management systems to Manage / Mitigate Non-Financial Risk 5. Understanding and strong interpretation of Regulations impacting the Operational Risk 6. Master's Degree level in Finance/ Mathematics/ Economics 7. FRM Certification will be an added advantage 8.
