Position : Dy Manager/ Asstt Manager - Contracts & Procurement Location : Bathinda Education : BE/ B.Tech Experience : 5-8 years Compensation : Commensurate with education and experience Role Responsibilities and Desired Profile : 1. Preferred candidate will possess a B Tech/ BE from reputed Institute with minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in contracts and procurement management in Oil and Gas/ Fertiliser/ Manufacturing etc. Candidates with experience in reputed MNCs and Navratna PSUs will be given preference. Leadership skills and the ability to work well with people at various levels and in teams are essential. Candidate shall have experience in SAP environment and working in SAP (MM) Module is essential. Diploma / Certification in SAP will be an added advantage. 2. This position has the responsibility for the procurement of goods and services following stipulated policies, procedures and applicable statutory and other regulations. Candidate will be responsible for following activities. - Manage the day to day operation of the procurement process - Demonstrate strong competencies, including integrity, accountability, communication skills and commitment to team work and excellence in responsibilities - Manage and review documents for the procurement of all supplies, equipment and services and ensures compliances to the procurement policy and procedures manual - Accountable for SAP Material master development whenever needed - should possess knowledge of developing in SAP MM area. - Must possess safety attributes in the daily work - Establish bid standards and prepare procurement documents to publicly solicit bids and contracts - Identify suppliers and review the credentials for vendor registrations - Responsible for ensuring records are maintained and procurements are documented - Coordinates effectively with other departments to assure effective and timely coordination and team work in procuring goods and services - Devises and uses fruitful contract and sourcing strategies and develops market intelligence for cross checking of credentials and potential sourcing - Scrap sales of materials and e auction - Coordinate with business associates for inputs and expediting responses. - Gathering market intelligence and taking on board new vendors
