Deputy Manager - Application Architecture - .NET/Java

Deputy Manager (IT)

- Education Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing or equivalent education and experience

Experience 7-10 years.

- Minimum 4-5 years of core development/architecture experience and should have strong experience working in an agile environment.

Responsibilities: 

- Technical person who has hands on experience of working on digital technologies like mobile applications, cloud applications etc

- Good experience of application architecture creation and understanding.

- Working with external vendors to deliver solutions. Good knowledge of SDLC cycle.

- Good to have - working on ERP/Oracle platforms sometime during his/her career.

- Interact with the customer stakeholders

- Weekly reporting the status updates to key internal and external stakeholders

- Ensure timely closures of reported incidents and tasks by teams

- Managing stakeholder expectations

- Working knowledge of data related technology - like languages (R/Python), algorithms.

- Understand the process frameworks, coordinate and manage on-site resources to follow the processes and meet project objectives; ensure process adherence and quality of documents from the delivery teams.

- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, articulation and communication skills

Skills and competencies:

- Understand stakeholder needs and interests and ability to manage the expectations

- Ability to coordinate with the vendor teams

- Well rounded and broad IT knowledge; ability to understand the different components of an IT business solution

- Strong technical background -.NET or Java technologies are preferred

- Some analytics skills are prefered

- Good working knowledge of SDLC phases and project management processes

- Ability to plan and coordinate with the stakeholders on implementation phases of software systems.

- Very good communication, good interpersonal effectiveness, consulting skills

- Good analytical skills.

- Strong team player with capabilities working with multiple teams

- Problem-solving capabilities with the ability to identify the root cause, patience and commitment to solve

- Ability to handle escalations and follow-up to resolve issues

Experience required : 

- Must have a good understanding of the latest technologies. Prior/present coding/designing experience is required.

- Must have good experience in client facing roles.
