RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts function maintains and reports the financial accounts of the Company and its subsidiaries and provides financial information to various stakeholders. It is responsible for producing Company statutory financial reports on quarterly and annual basis for approval and adoption of Board of Directors. Another primary role is to produce all compliance related requirements prescribed by -IRDAI like public disclosures, new business reporting, schedule V and Schedule VIA reporting etc. The Accounts function also meets the reporting requirements as required by the parent/promoter company by submitting the required reports which mainly includes the FFC consolidation pack on Ind AS requirements. The Accounts team provides appropriate information to management on a timely basis for facilitating decision making.

Purpose of the Job:

- To ensure proper financial reporting of the Company on a timely basis with proper analysis.

- To ensure compliance to all IRDAI reporting on time accurately with quality

- To prepare and manage subsidiary company accounts by ensuring complete understanding and meeting timelines for Board and other requirements by regulatory authorities

- To manage parent/promoter company requirements by coordinating with them and ensuring proper closure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1) Timely and accurate reporting of financials for the Company including the reporting of SEBI LODR Disclosures requirements

2) Preparation and overall management of subsidiary company accounts including analysis and review, coordination with auditors, closing Board requirements on time, explanation to management etc

3) Timely and accurate submission of all IRDAI reports on a monthly/quarterly/half yearly and annual basis

4) Contribute in preparation of notes to accounts on standalone and consolidated basis ensuring requirements of regulations and accounting standards are met

5) Preparation of reporting requirements as required by promoter including support in preparation of Ind AS FFC pack

6) Contribute in preparation of year end and quarterly requirements including MD&A preparation, support in producing annual report, related party disclosures etc

7) Identifying automation requirements and coordination for closure with IT and other stakeholders

8) Analysis of performance of competitors and identifying best industry practices
