The candidate will be responsible for managing financial resources and overseeing the financial activities of the company. This includes managing the organisation's cash flow, financial risk management, and financial planning and analysis. The DGM Treasury also works closely with other

departments, such as finance and operations, to ensure that the organisation's financial resources are being used effectively and efficiently.

Some specific responsibilities may include :

- Managing cash flow and working capital requirements: This may involve developing and implementing strategies to optimise cash flow, such as through cash management techniques or short-term investments.

- Developing and implementing financial risk management strategies.

- You will be responsible for identifying and managing financial risks that could impact the company's financial performance. This may involve implementing measures such as hedging or insurance to mitigate these risks.

- Overseeing the financial planning and analysis processes: This includes developing and maintaining financial projections and budgets, as well as analysing and interpreting financial data to inform decision-making.

- Developing and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions: You will work with banks, and other financial institutions to secure funding or other financial support for the organization. You will need to establish working relationship with banks, credit rating agencies, lawyers etc.

- Managing the company's investment portfolio: This will involve the generation of treasury income, through the management of investments in securities or other assets to maximise returns and minimise risk.

- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws: You will be responsible for ensuring that the organization is in compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws.

- Providing financial guidance and support to other departments: You will work with other departments to provide financial guidance and support, such as helping to develop financial projections or analysing financial data to inform business decisions.

- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures: The DGM of Treasury is responsible for developing and implementing financial policies and procedures that help to ensure the organisations financial stability and compliance with regulations.

- Managing the budgeting process: This includes developing and managing budget, as well as monitoring and analysing budget performance.

- Providing regular financial reports to senior management and the board of directors: You will be is responsible for providing regular financial reports to senior management and the board of directors, including updates on the organisation's financial performance and any key issues or challenges

- Leading any debt portfolio restructuring or refinancing

- Ensuring lowest funding cost for debt portfolio

- You must have strong financial analysis and management skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities. You should also have a strong understanding of financial principles and be able to work with a variety of financial data and systems.
