Scope of Responsibilities:
1. Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers
2. Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations
3. Deploy a wide variety of training methods
4. Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
5. Monitor and evaluate training program's effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them
6. Manage training budget
7. Provide opportunities for ongoing development
8. Resolve any specific problems and tailor programs as necessary
9. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have
1. Proven work experience as a training manager
2. Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
3. Excellent communication and leadership skills
4. Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
5. Strong report writing and record keeping ability
6. Good computer and database skills
7. BS degree in education, human resources or relevant field
Due to the nature of the work, the applicant must be willing to travel extensively.
