Experience: 20 to 30 years of experience in Technical Field in development of polymer compounds Any additional requirement: Should have exposure in working on polymer processing in footwear industry. Purpose of the Position (Job Summary): Incumbent should be astute professionals with proven track record of 20- 30 years in manufacturing and development of polymer compounds preferably in Footwear industry in manufacturing of Hawai (Rubber&amp;Eva both) / Eva Injection /vulcanized rubber/pvc injection. Knowledge of PU (RIM) process will be an added advantage. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Financial - To ensure development of new compound &amp; processes for cost effective manufacturing operations. - To minimize the cost &amp; generation of wastages in various steps in manufacturing operations Customer Oriented :&nbsp; - To ensure standard of the quality of FG &amp; also RM - To drive consistency in product specification, process specification &amp; quality specification. People Oriented :&nbsp; - To coordinate amongst all the manufacturing units and mitigate the technical problems by addressing from its root cause. Also to guide &amp; interact with vendors of footwear components for quality production. Internal Business Process :&nbsp; - To independently innovate &amp; handle new product development initiatives to improve the sustainable competitive position of the product portfolio. - To be responsible for development of compound &amp;processes with stabilization at the pilot level &amp; scale up for commercial production. - To ensure effective operations &amp; maintain records of labs across all units. - To devise &amp; manage specifications &amp; test procedure for incoming raw material &amp; finished products. - To maintain and control process parameters across all units with trouble shooting. - To effectively devise &amp; manage QA Competencies :&nbsp; - Expertise in production &amp; quality process. - Knowledge of product &amp; raw material specifications. - Meticulous - Co-ordination &amp; networking Skills - Man Management Skills.
