Summary: Strategy development and strategic inputs to business - including new value-creation projects, digital turnaround across Pulp & Fibre, evaluation of competitive landscape, advocacy with regulatory bodies, evaluation of emerging trends, business expansion, business model innovation, amongst others.

Job Description -

- Develop strategy for Pulp & Fibre business ($3 Bn revenues) across manufacturing (12 global facilities), global sales & marketing and new markets

- Evaluate new business opportunities in application areas where our pulp & fibre products are not present significantly.

- Identify new product needs of the global textile, non-woven and pulp markets.

- Ensuring suitable metrics are in place to measure performance and progress.

- Identifying performance improvement opportunities and develop operational roadmap.

- Digital turnaround of P&F business across sourcing, manufacturing, supply chain, sales and marketing, etc.

- Evaluate opportunity for efficiency enhancement or value unlocking through advanced digital technologies.

- Co-ordinate with manufacturing plants and functional teams across the business to identify gaps and structure digital solutions.

- Help the business in creating end-to-end digital turnaround for each unit/function in a staggered fashion.

- Strategic growth projects to evaluate long-term value creation for Business.

- Analyze emerging trends and support business in value creation initiatives.

- Evaluate the emerging business growth requirements across geographies.

- Collaborating with leadership, special committees, and consultants to execute strategies.

- Development of thought leadership - presentations, speeches, strategy notes, etc.

Required Profile:

- MBA from leading institute + Pref. engineering or business/economics course in bachelors.

- 4+ years of full-time post MBA experience.

- Strategic and growth mindset, with an ability to ramp up quickly

- Strong problem solving and quantitative abilities

- Ability to work with diverse, multi-culture teams

Desired Qualifications -

- Manufacturing sector experience or textile industry experience or new product/service development experience will be preferred.

- Prior experience on project management is valuable
