DGM SBL / Securities lending operations Job Description _Securities Lending_DGM We support an American multinational finance company that engages in global investment banking, investment management, securities, and other financial services including asset management, mergers and acquisitions advice, prime brokerage, and securities underwriting services. We support client on their mid and back office Stock Lending &amp; Borrowing operations.The client is based out of USA&amp; UK. We provide the following indicative list of services for the clients: 1) Account Opening 2) Contract Compare 3) Settlements (Prepays &amp; Samedays) 4) Returns &amp; Recalls 5) Marks &amp; Collateral 6) Billing 7) OCC Marks 8) Reporting I. Position Summary: Individual in this role will be responsible for running the day to day operations, managing deliverables, handling escalations and issues, understand the client requirement and work towards operation excellence in the business unit. They will also responsible for effective client management, team management and ensure process improvement ideas are implemented. II. Key Result Areas: - Responsible for effective process management and service delivery - Achieve SLA / KPI targets w.r.t. Turnaround time, accuracy and completeness targets - Drive continuous process improvements by initiating and delivering process improvement projects - Drive automation projects - Responsible for managing risk and controls effectively - Ensure compliance of all process requirements without fail - Ensure that the resources are used optimally and buffer should not exceed 10% - Ensure Team Productivity levels are achieved as per the targets set year on year - Responsible for customer profitability by managing cost effectively by various means - Adhering to the compliance standards (client and Cognizant) - Manage employee retention and engagement (Manage attrition within a target range and ESAT scores) - Contribute to Recruitment (measure through participation in screening and interviewing candidates) - Client Management and first level contact point for escalations from clients - Process ownership and relationship management - Effective Team management &amp; conflict management - Involvement in Trainings and organization initiatives - Performance/Appraisal management - Resource planning, forecasting and staffing Professional Experience:&nbsp; - Experience in Investment Banking domain with at least 5-6 years proven expertise in Collateral, specifically in Securities Borrowing and Lending (SBL) - Experience or extensive knowledge in Margin Management flow / process for x-products, including good amount of knowledge in understanding the bilateral agreements Stock Loan Agreements - Operations management experience in SBL Collateral and settlements knowledge in various products - Front to back knowledge in SBL with good macro view of trade life cycle, including SBL Billing - Ability to cope up with the market / Industry trends and updates, specific to SBL is desired - Settlements experience with in IB Operations domain along with capital markets knowledge is desired
