Deputy General Manager - R&D - Material Development Firm

Total experience Min 20 Years

- Experience in Steel mill/steel casting / forging industry / Similar activities (minimum 10 years in the ferrous material manufacturing process )

- Knowledge of Strategic planning for material developments & Experience in Capital Investments, Installation & commissioning of Material testing facilities

- Strategic planning (Material development including corporate technical services for steel, polymers, plastics, tribology, material compliance etc ) for

- Monitoring & analysis of R&D material testing of different materials at Scheffler & service providers.

- R&D material test rig developments (based on different standards & material test methods)

- Understanding of steel material manufacturing processes & global standards

- Develoment of local steel / other material raw material supplier (around 30% to 40 % time in traveling in different parts of India)

- Development of new steel / other material grades for local market requirements

- Regular improvements of local steel / other material raw material supplier including support for audits at suppliers

- Material testing facility set-ups & its monitoring

- Techno-commercial background

- Project Management, Team Building, People management

- Communication / Networking (Global & Local teams)

- SAP & MS Office

- IATF16949 / ISO Quality systems
