EXPECTED END RESULTS & MAJOR ACTIVITIES : 

1. Lead the divisional objectives towards developing skilled E&E team

- Conduct Technical management in the E&E systems

- Drive Engineering department to march towards the midterm planning.

- Part of forming the Midterm road map for vehicle E&E systems

- Focus the division to make actions for for New Technology adoption and Standardization of work processes

2. Contribute to the E&E strategy of the Company

- Participate in E&E strategy and its implementation (technical and systems road map, sourcing strategy, standards- )

- Global development strategy (with other tech centers)

- Product design policy and its implementation, by work-packages

3. To contribute to the overall engineering efficiency by defining global activity plan and allocation on system perimeter:

- Manage a customer/supplier relationship which formalizes its QCD commitments with other engineering bodies (projects, innovation, tests and service)

- Cross manage with operational skills and resources plans

- Ensure proper monitoring of divisional deliverable and associated schedules

- Validate outsourcing plans with GMs and build results oriented contracts ensuring competitive services

4. Ensure effective knowledge management, business development and headcount expansion practices

- Identify opportunities to drive synergy and ensure a common team culture

- Manage knowledge and practice sharing sessions and ensure that best practices from each GM are implemented across Engineering

5. Manage people development initiatives within the team and ensure effective manpower planning/utilization

- Strategies on career development plan;Career development plan of employees,

- Address internal grievances/queries, performance related issues and team management issues

- Lead recruitment, training and development initiatives within the team and ensure skill/capability development

- Monitor team and individual performance and provide reward and recognition based incentives

- Ensure training and development needs are met and provide development opportunities
