DGM - Category Marketing Manager
Summary of Role Responsibilities :
- Develop a strategic marketing plan for the assigned category / concept / brands to deliver business objectives
- Develop, plan and execute compelling consumer engagement programs through branding and communication strategy for Category / Brands in the portfolio
- Ensure season / collection / product relevant communication at stores by highlighting in-season merchandise through visuals and developing product-based communication as required
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategy and define ways to enhance the same
- Develop and implement an effective, optimized media mix, to leverage the potential of all available mediums in achieving business objectives
- Evaluate media performance for the respective brands and competition
- Build and manage the team to maximize performance
Key Job Responsibilities :Brand Management :
- Develop comprehensive category and consumer understanding

- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to evaluate effectiveness of marketing strategy and define ways to enhance the same
- Maintain ongoing and consistent partnership with business partners to leverage partner's strengths and deliver consumer engagement
- Conduct competition analysis and benchmark international standards as per business guidelines
- Understand adjacencies and contribute through learning from a consumer point of view to enhance performance / consumer experience
Media Management :
- Develop and implement an effective, optimized media mix, to leverage the potential of all available mediums in achieving business objectives
- Constantly monitor advertising and marketing expenses, align spends to budgets, generate savings through innovation, partnerships, negotiations, spend consolidation.
- Evaluate media performance for the respective brands and competition
People management :
- Build a high performing team
- Set expectations and give regular feedback to the team to maximize performance
- Guide, coach, train and develop the team
