We are seeking a Deputy General Manager maintenance for a multi-national company in Cochin. The client is a leading player in specialty chemicals. The person will be based in Cochin, hence speaking the local language is essential for this role. The Role: - Provide functional direction for all equipment break-down maintenance, coordinate equipment repairs across all shifts and responds to plant production and maintenance needs. - Planning and effecting predictive and preventive maintenance schedules of plant equipment's to increase machine up time and reliability. - Take care of all mechanical and electrical related maintenance & Operation in the plant, consult with production personnel to determine equipment operating & maintenance needs. - Implementing safe work practice and maintaining all maintenance data for Rout cause & Analysis. - Ensure systematic preventive maintenance and routine servicing of all plant and equipment through development, implementation and maintenance of a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) process to maximize machine uptime/efficiencies - Ensure all HSE processes and procedures are in line with local laws and embedding a strong safety culture throughout the team through effective safety leadership and coaching . Desired experience: - 20 to 25 years (post qualification) of plant /equipment's maintenance as well as managing projects in reputed Multinational/Indian industries ( experience in Chemical/ Fine Chemical Industries, Process plants etc - Candidate with hands on experience of trouble shooting, fault finding, diagnosis, repair, maintenance of diverse range of plant and machinery.
