Role & responsibilities:
- Responsible for maintaining harmonious IR relations, across all employee groups
- Assess risks of IR decisions accurately, build strong external/internal relationships with government, union agencies, communities and local influencers Leading the negotiations and concluding the LTS with union amicably within the budget.
- Drive productivity enhancement, welfare / engagement activities and CSR initiatives
- Responsible for driving Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Training and other key HR processes for white collar employees in the plants with adherence to recommended quality standards Identify, source, and deploy contract labor and blue collared employees as per business.
- Lead skill development of all employee groups through regular, high-quality training programs.
- Facilitating and implementing Organizational Excellence initiatives like TPM/ TQM/ IMS/ Integrated Lean Six Sigma, 5S, QCC strategies especially the education and training pillar.
- Proactively identify and resolve employee grievances in a fair and consistent manner. Ensure all labour law and regulatory compliances and lead liaising with regulatory agencies, labour officers, IFs etc. Ensuring labour and wage compliances of the contractors. Support the administration of blue-collar workmen's compensation, salary, bonuses and wages and payroll administration
Preferred candidate profile:
- Expertise in Industrial Relations
- Ability to independently lead HR / IR for multiple units through effective influencing ability
- Excellent negotiation skills, resilient, problem solver
- Good team building and interpersonal skills
- Relationship building especially when dealing with unions, regulatory authorities and diverse employee groups
- PGDBM / MBA / MMS in HR / IR
- 12+ years of experience in Manufacturing HR / IR roles in FMCG organizations is preferable. However, strong HR / IR experience in other industries will also be considered
