Main issues and objectives of the position - Lead HRBP and Recruitment for Research & Development and Engineering Functions business of company - Drive synergy between Business, HR CoC and HR Shared Service - Co-create business solutions with CoCs to keep the stronger alignment with business requirements - Provide professional advice to BU Heads and managers on all HR topics - Lead and mentor HRBP and Recruitment team to meet business objective - Participate with senior leadership to establish business and people related strategic plans and objectives Description of Key Tasks Talent Strategy Management: - Formulate talent strategy in alignment with business goals - Initiate policy changes and execution of the same - Provide direction to business and teams related to people processes Business Strategy Management: - Support business Strategy development and implementation Contribute to the strategy implementation of business Change Management: - Review business demands and needs proactively - Initiate change. Provide course to implement change. - Ensure cultural and organizational initiatives are understood and accepted by employees - Act as internal consultant and change agent - Lead team to drive change in respective departments Organization Structure: - Review org structure of IT & Corp and its sub-functions - Consider HRO guidelines, BU strategy, organizational development and business processes Performance Management: - Manage, implement and execute the Appraisal Management System and process for IT & Corp within defined timelines - Lad team to enhance employee experience with focused career development initiatives. - Build a structure to derive development needs based on roles and competencies - Deliver necessary training (seminar, conference, mentoring, coaching etc.,) intervention along with CoCs - Ensure behavioral, leadership development, language trainings rolled out across IT & Corp - Enable job rotation, internal sourcing and succession plan Talent Development: - Build a structure to derive development needs based on roles and competencies - Deliver necessary training (seminar, conference, mentoring, coaching etc.) intervention along with CoCs - Responsibility for behavioral, leadership development, language trainings across RD - Enable job rotation, internal sourcing and succession plan. Employee Engagement: - Ensure high level of employee engagement and commitment through surveys, skip level meetings, welfare programs, assistance/counselling programs, grievance handling etc. - Build inclusive working environment and strong employee retention programs by understanding managers and employees- needs and challenges. Talent Acquisition: - Lead and Motivate the team to deliver on talent acquisition needs for IT & Corp Functions - Lead team to initiate strong strategies to keep abreast of external market environment and dynamics which impact talent market directly - Report to Management on Hiring status - Ensure the demand is met at company level Disciplinary Issues: - Lead team to ensure policy implementation - Devise and roll-out HR policies and program in close cooperation with CoCs, BU and other HRBP - Review and Act on issues related to compliance, performance, behavior of the employees Policy Implementation: - Devise and roll-out HR policies and program in close cooperation with CoCs & BU Communication: - Act as a single point of contact between BU and CoC/HRShS. - Participate in the Departmental Strategy, Team Communication, Town Hall meetings Team Management: - Guide and mentor the HRBP and recruitment team to meet business needs - Ability to influence a team to deliver consistent results Number of directly assigned staff / Total number of assigned staff : 6 / 6 Education : Master in Business Administration with specialization in HR Experience : 12-15 years
