Job Purpose :   - The Executive is responsible to develop and drive the ER and IR Initiatives, through the identification and adoption of best practices in order to ensure the presence of a highly motivated, committed and engaged workforce.  Key Responsibilities :   Industrial Relations :  - Ensure statutory and legal compliance.  - Have had the exposure of managing varied IR situations in diverse environments (unionised workforce, non-unionised workforce, internal as well as external unions and federations).  - Provide expert advice and oversight on effective Statutes and Laws.  - Sound understanding on Grievance Redressal.  Employee Relations & Employee Engagement :  - Interact with people across levels with a focus to provide guidance and advice on critical matters.  - Ability to design interventions and deliver them successfully.  - Maintain a positive rapport at all levels within the organisation in order to achieve high levels of morale and high employee engagement.  - Passionate about Employee Relations by maintaining a harmonious work environment, empower teams, build participation through CSR interventions, reaching out to the families.  Learning and Development :  - Identifying training and development needs within the organisation through job analysis, performance management system and regular consultation  - Assist in devising a training strategy for the organisation  - Designing and expanding training and development programs based on both the organisation's and the individual's needs  - Considering the costs of planned programs and keeping within budgets, assessing the return on investment of any training or development program is equally important  HR Operations :  - Effectively manage the entire HR Operations and support the employee life cycle for the Manufacturing site.  - Ensure the all the HR costs are within budgets and highlight and take corrective action for deviations.  - Design and deploy an Employee Relation Strategy that promotes win-win relationships between the labor force and the organisation.  - Providing administrative support to various functions including Transport and Canteen.   Recruitment :  - Work closely with contractors and ensure availability of workforce at all times   Key Skills and Competencies :  Labor Laws Proficiency : Excellent understanding and knowledge of the applicable Acts - Factory's Acts, Gratuity, PF, Shops & Establishments Act etc.  Proactive : To foster an amicable non-unionized work environment  Strategic Thinking : To align priorities, planning and action to the organisations long term vision  Impact & Influence : The ability to persuade, convince, influence or impress others in order to accomplish the overall organisational goals.  Organisational Leadership : To use appropriate methods & a flexible interpersonal style to help build a cohesive team, facilitating the completion of organisational goals.  Adaptability : To work effectively within a variety of situations and with various individuals or groups.  Organisational Awareness : The ability to understand & learn the power relationships in one's own organisation and in other organisations.  Responsiveness : Highly agile; quick to respond to grievances with a self drive.  Past Experience :  - A qualified HR professional with 15 + years experience.  - Exposure in manufacturing Plant is a prerequisite
