DGM / Head - Shared Services

Location : Chennai (Preferred), Bangalore, Hyderabad

We are on the look out for a Leader to Manage our Shared Services Operations based in Chennai. The role will bring with it an opportunity to grow our Shared Services Centre specifically for Business Operations (Voice and non voice operations) . office operations where we aim to bring in work from our offices in Europe, South East Asia and Australia primarily.

We are on the look out for Operations Managers / Sr. Operations Managers who bring with them solid experience in Managing back office operations (voice and non voice) and come with solid experience in Transitions and process improvements.

This role will be preferably based out of Chennai and will manage a mid - large sized team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLE :

- Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforce policies and procedures that will improve the overall operational efficiencies and effectiveness of the Global operations through innovation and automation "

- Work with the Indian team to complete all the activities listed for each process.

- Excellent stakeholder management by attending the reviews, meetings & presentations.

- Defining / agreeing the Scope of work with respective stakeholders and work with the team to mange the expectations of the stakeholders.

- Single point of contact for the offshore and Indian leadership team for the Shared Services organization

- People management and Performance evaluation of the team members to build a high performing team. Should be capable to close the annual appraisals, skip level meetings & employee one on one meetings.

- Ensures timely and accurate reporting according to business needs

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :

- Lead the Business support team supporting various regions across the various operating companies

- Provides support, oversight, and direction to the team ensuring adequate staffing, training, development and optimal operation in accordance with business needs

- Manages the Business support function by developing people and processes that supports the needs of the stakeholders in various regions

- Partners with stakeholders in various regions to identify opportunities for future scope

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

Education Qualifications : Graduate or Post Graduate

Experience : Over 13 years experience in shared service environment, Managing Back office Operations (5 years of experience in leading a large team) with experience in managing both voice and non voice related back office operations.

- Excellent people management and process management skills

- Functional skills required to execute the role Excellent communication, stakeholder management, capable to manage the managers

- Very good process understanding in finance and accounts domain

- Good in networking Proactive leader
