Job Description - Senior finance role with exposure across controllership, financial planning, management and performance.

Description :

Controllership:

- Assists in identifying and implementing appropriate financial controls and opportunities for better financial discipline and accurate reporting

- Ensures the company's books of accounts are maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards and with consideration of applicable fiscal laws so that the same forms an adequate basis for a reliable financial reporting, both internal and external.

- Finalization of Quarterly and Annual accounts as per schedule including consolidated financial statements for the group

- Ensures periodic audit of final accounts as per schedules.

- Ensures in co-ordination with corporate tax team that applicable statutory requirements are duly complied with (mainly those related to fiscal laws like Income Tax, GST, etc.)

- Drive relationships, negotiations and problem solving with auditors, transfer pricing, tax consultants

- Evaluate risks along with internal functions to develop a robust risk management strategy and response to minimize adverse impacts

- Drive Internal Audit across the organization

- Establish an effective transfer pricing mechanism between the inter-group companies and monitor the effectiveness of the mechanism Accounting and Operations

Financial Planning, Management and Performance:

- Drive planning and preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, long term strategic plans, projections and goal setting for company and management

- Review monthly financials from businesses, conduct financial analysis and drive preparation of internal MIS for board and management

- Conduct variance analysis and deep dives into areas of concern and drive revenue and cost owners to take appropriate action

- Plans and manages cash flows (collections vs. payments) and takes appropriate actions to manage shortfalls.

- Identifies cost reduction opportunities within the departments reporting to the business line through use of information technology, re-alignment of work processes and appropriate manpower utilization.

- Interfaces with bankers for the debt requirement for the on-going projects of the company.

- Management of working capital limits from banks, forex management & import banking

- Lead preparation for quarterly board meetings

- Lead capital raising, plan capital structure and communication with shareholders

Profile :

- 10 - 12 years of relevant professional work experience with demonstrated success in the key responsibilities for this role, any Industry.

- Creativity, drive, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving

- Analytical/critical thinker with ability to conduct analysis with minimal oversight and ability to defend such analyses

- Should be a meticulous and organized worker with the ability to scale up to the needs of a fast-growing organization.

- Strong financial modelling skills
