Deputy General Manager - Environment/Health & Safety - Infra

Key Responsibilities :

- Drive a best in class safety culture during the execution campaigns with the Integrated partners

- Nurture focused efforts by all business teams towards zero harm, zero waste and zero discharge.

- Provide domain expertise and support on Health & Safety matters to Projects, Procurement specifications of Safety Equipment and review of HSE documents and Manuals.

- Ensure that required risk assessment reviews are carried out at different stages of a project and the recommendations resulting from such risk reviews are fully implemented during various stages of the project development.

- Ensure that HSE plans / procedures are prepared for new projects, expansion / augmentation of existing facility, exploration activities (seismic), drilling etc., review & provide technical inputs and ensure that effective and workable plans are prepared to meet the HSE requirements.

- Closely co-ordinate with various regulatory authorities to obtain approvals & renewals as required under Indian Law for Operations, Projects, Drilling activities or any new project or modification of existing facility.

Qualification & Experience :

- BE (Chemical/ Civil/ Mechanical/ Mining) with M. Tech./ P.G.D (Industrial Safety) from premier institutions (like CLI, RLIs, NITIE, NITs, P. G. Diploma recognized by State Board of Technical Education).

- Minimum 15 years of experience with at least 10 years in health and operational safety function

- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management

- Exposure to international HSEQ practices / standards will be an added advantage
