Job Description:

The Deputy General Manager will be based out at the corporate office in Kolkata. He will be responsible of the entire Corporate accounts & Commercial, Budgeting, MIS, Audit, Taxation.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do :

This position is responsible to ensure the Corporate Accounts functions as it should - to safeguard the assets of the company.

- Lead the overall account function at corporate level and ensure proper recording of transaction, having proper internal control and enforcement of correct accounting principles and policies. 

- Effective utilization of available resources and Manpower

- Identification of training need of staff for their development and motivation.

- Coordination with different departments, internal auditors and external auditors.

- Liaison with different government departments like DIC, DI, CGST and banks.

Apart from the mentioned role you need to take care of the following as well.

- Internal Audit, SOP & SAP

- MIS reports

- Finalization of Annual Accounts

- Tax Planning - Direct & Indirect

- Preparation of Budgets

- Project Reports

Here are a few of our preferred experiences

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required. Masters degree in related field preferred. Member of Institute of Accountant would be added advantage.

- Manufacturing accounting experience - Fifteen or more year's progressively responsible accounting or finance experience.

- 5 or more years as the senior leader in an accounting or finance organization in a related industry. Strong working knowledge preferred in area of Management Accounting such as reporting, analysis, costing & pricing and inventory control.

- Strong working knowledge preferred in area of Corporate Accounting.

WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE FROM PLANT ACCOUNTS OR SALES ACCOUNTS AT ZONAL OR REGIONAL LEVEL.
