DGM - Accounts & Finance - Leading Real Estate Company Our Client is an Indian Real Estate and Infrastructure Company founded in 1994. Position - DGM - Accounts & Finance Location - Chennai Experience - CA with 12 to 15 years of post qualification experience CTC - 38 Lakhs (Inclusive of 15% Variable) Job Purpose: Financial controller for the organization. Responsible for accuracy of accounting activities. Principal Accountabilities : 1. Formulating budgets and related strategies to achieve these Budgets in close coordination with Business Teams 2. Forecasting, planning, and driving profitability initiatives. 3. Ensuring good quality and accurate closure of financial results for all entities in IC&IC business through close interactions with Auditors and other stakeholders 4. Reviewing the financial statements viz. P&L Account, Balance Sheets and Cashflows. 5. Participating in various Board Meetings and presenting various aspects related to Finance, Business etc. 6. Close interactions with joint venture partners like IFC Word Bank, Sumitomo Corporation, State Government bodies etc. 7. Reviewing and articulating cash flow requirements for all the Entities in a timely manner such that Business requirements are met on time. 8. Appreciating various Balance Sheet Risks and initiating actions to mitigate these Risks in a time bound manner in close coordination with Counsels and Corporate Teams 9. Analytics and Business Model developments for various new revenue streams and initiatives to improve revenue and profitability of the Business. 10. Reviewing existing processes and leading the implementation of systems aimed at enhancing process and operational efficiency of the organization. 11. Driving automation in identified areas to build enhanced controls and to drive efficiency. 12. Enhancing the overall efficiency related to vendor payments 13. Internal financial controls & Risk Management 14. Ensuring up to date SAP and other platforms from accounting standpoint 15. Digitization/ Planning and implementation of technological upgrades Functional Competencies: - Proficient in IGAAP, IND AS, & Corporate Finance - Excellent know how of SAP FICO ERP, and MS-Excel - Proficiency in Company's Act and SEBI related compliances - Understanding of Direct and Indirect Taxes Qualification Experience- CA with 12 - 15 years
