Deputy Financial Controller - Tech/IT

We are currently retained by a US based Tech enabled organization to find a Deputy Financial Controller for them.

This is a US based organization and they have a development center in India so please apply only if you are willing to work late nights (2PM to 11PM IST)

The role requires extensive data reconciliation and ability to prepare comprehensive projected financial statements. Most of the financial transactions are related to IT Infrastructure and Managed Support.

Primary Responsibilities will include:

1) Assist Executive Management team while delivering Annual Operating Plan / Monthly and Quarterly Forecasts in-line with Financial Framework for each portfolio and Line of Business and the overall Business.

2) Provide timely and accurate submissions of Month End Actuals and Budgets, Financial Reports and Financial Forecasting including Variance Analysis.

3) Ensure strong controllership in terms of P&L and Balance Sheet cleanliness with all balances well substantiated for monthly reporting

4) Analyse Current and Past Financial Data and identify trends

5) Interpret the company Business and assist in Cost Saving methods across department by Analysing the Data and Factors contributing to expenses

Responsible for preparation of Financial Analysis for the Company and its various Business Lines

To fit the Bill, you must have:

a) Good experience in Statistical Analysis, Financial Forecasting and Budgeting

b) Ability to perform under tight timelines

c) Excellent understanding of Financial statements, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement of US based IT industry

d) Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

e) Good working experience on Quickbooks

f) CA or MBA in Finance with 8+ years of experience in handling US based accounts
