Deputy Financial Controller (Manufacturing)

You will oversee the business and financial operations of the company and responsibility for the organization's economic and financial performance. The role also requires perform financial analysis, develop financial planning processes, and design and implement overall business plans.

KEY TASKS:

- Providing and interpreting financial information like P/L with corrective path to the management.

- Build business plans and define ways to identify gaps and opportunities.

- Define ways to measure and report on the key indicators of business.

- Identify cost saving opportunities and efficiency gains.

- Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends.

- Analysing change and advising accordingly.

- Support in formulating strategic and long-term business plans for the management.

- Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance.

- Analysing competitors and market trends.

- Developing financial management mechanisms that minimize financial risk.

- Conducting reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

- Managing a company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.

- Liaising with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.

- Developing external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organizations such as the Inland Revenue, company secretary, VAT & Excise consultant.

- Producing accurate financial reports to specific deadlines.

- Managing budgets - annually and quarterly revision with updated changes in P/L and Budget.

- Corporate communication and updates.

- Capex planning, updates and process cycle completion.

- Arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.

- Cash flow management and action for recovery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

- Taking active part in the development of business processes and procedures, methods, information, and systems as well as strategies and action plans in order to improve business performance and company profitability.

- Assist management to analyse financial and operational information, identifying strengths/weaknesses and recommending improvements in methods and processes.

- Financial investigation and analysis of performance in all areas to local management.

- Monitoring the balance sheet.

- Oversee and develop the planning model through, target setting, action planning, financial projections and simulations as well as follow up and deviation analysis.

- Reporting and presentation of the financial outcome, business plans and projections to local management.

- Closing of books and running accounting efficiency, complying with time schedules as well as with accounting and quality standards.

- Proposing and participating in improvements to the overall company accounting model.

- Proposing and participating in developing processes and procedures to minimise operational risks.

- Proposing and participating in developing processes and procedures to achieve administrative efficiency and protection of company assets and values.

- Oversee that company policy, laws and regulations are complied with.

- Work with details and understand the context; Act now - think long term; Build know how through continuous learning; and Stimulate commitment through involvement.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA with 4-5 years of working experience in a leading manufacturing organization. A solid commercial understanding with knowledge of direct and indirect taxes, transfer price, Import and export regulations and other commercial regulations.

2. Computer proficiency with knowledge of working in SAP & Ms Excel etc.
