Overview: We seek an experienced and visionary Deputy Chief Information Officer (CIO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess 12-15 years of proven leadership in technology management, with a strong emphasis on technical architecture, and digital transformation, an excellent understanding of business processes, and a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure, Networking, and security. This individual should have proven skills in forward-thinking in terms of technology trends, capability of aligning IT strategies with business goals, and adept at translating IT investments into tangible business value.
Responsibilities :
Technical Architecture and Strategy :
- Provide strategic direction for the organization's technological growth, overseeing technical architecture, infrastructure, and systems.
- Drive innovation, exploring emerging technologies and their potential applications for the company's growth.
- Collaborate with the CIO to establish and execute the IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
Digital Transformation and Business Alignment :
- Lead and execute digital transformation initiatives, ensuring seamless technology integration to enhance business processes and efficiency.
- Bridge the gap between technology and business requirements, understanding and addressing challenges to maximize operational effectiveness.
Financial Management and Stakeholder Engagement :
- Define and manage the budget (P&L) for technology initiatives, demonstrating a track record of effective budgeting, value delivery, and resource allocation.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving consensus on technology strategies.
Leadership, Decision-Making, and Communication :
- Lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Make decisive, action-oriented decisions, balancing a top-down strategic approach with a bottom-up operational perspective.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, influencing stakeholders and effectively presenting complex technical information.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors (Engineering) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any other engineering degree with extensive experience in Information Technology; advanced (MBA/M.Tech) degree preferred.
- 12-15 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, emphasizing technical architecture and digital transformation with participation in 3-4 hands experience in IT transformation projects. We need extensive experience in ERPs SAP (Preferred), Oracle or other leading ERPs, Analytics, Master Data Management, Automation and other trending technology trends.
- Strong business acumen. Ability to understand business nuances, recommend and implement technology to improve the business, and get business value.
- Proven track record in driving IT initiatives impacting business growth and efficiency, with strong financial acumen, P&L management, and budgeting experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, influencing stakeholders at all levels and representing the organization effectively.
- Executive presence and the ability to lead strategically while ensuring operational efficiency.
- Strategic thinking with a pragmatic approach, adept at navigating complex challenges and driving impactful solutions.
