Deputy CFO - Manufacturing Industry

The incumbent will play a pivotal role in the financial leadership team, assisting the CFO in steering the company's financial strategies and operations. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with a deep understanding of financial management, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning. The incumbent will contribute to optimizing financial performance, ensuring fiscal discipline, and enhancing governance standards.

Qualification & Experience required

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent qualification.

- Experience: 15-20 years in finance and accounting, preferably in a leadership role.

- Proven track record in managing financial operations for mid-sized companies.

- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial modeling, and risk management.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Good Knowledge of SAP is must

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Supervise the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports on monthly / quarterly / annual basis

- Ensure compliance with IND AS, accounting principles, statutory regulations, and stock exchange requirements.

- Evaluate financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate potential threats.

Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Development of strategic financial plans and budgets and regular monitoring thereof through monthly variance analysis.

- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for cost optimization and productivity enhancement.

Strategic Financial Leadership:

- Assist in formulating and executing financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.

- Provide insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.

Compliance and Governance:

- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies for audits and inspections.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

Working Capital Management:

- Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital management.

- Monitoring Inventory and Debtors levels and ensuring timely reporting

- Compliance with Bank's Covenants for working capital borrowings

- Cash Flow management

- Team Management

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

- Foster a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives.

Other Skills Required:

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and investors.

- Communicate financial performance and forecasts to the executive team and the board

- Position reports to: Group CFO ( A multi billion group)
