Deputy CFO

You will be responsible for strategic role in the overall management of the Organisation. The Deputy CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the Organisation. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, property management, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships and partnership compliance and private and institutional financing.

- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.

- Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.

- Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.

- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.

- Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.

- Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.

- Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company

- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or CPA with 20+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles in a Manufacturing sector & with broad background of finance leadership roles and history of consistent progression, including experience at a public company

2. Experience in leading a business from a financial perspective

3. Direct supervisor experience of a finance and accounting team

4. Demonstrated ability to organize, lead, and manage projects

5. Strong leadership capability within finance and among business leaders, ability to coach and develop others and to receive coaching

6. Discernment to oversee and delegate work of direct report while giving them freedom to operate and develop their skills

7. Ability to connect the dots of a long value chain across multiple functions and to define and drive coordinated and cohesive team efforts for analysis and reporting across the value chain

8. Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end business processes with the ability to identify profit drivers and knowledgeably speak to the state of the business on a day-to-day basis

9. Overall understanding an application of a variety of generally accepted accounting principles, financial concepts, practices, and procedures as well as contemporary practices, metrics, and assessment tools

10. Continuous Improvement - Display a healthy discontent with status quo; gather information from various sources to perform multiple layers of data mining, to identify the area for improvement, and to generate options for solutions; demonstrates sound judgment in choosing a course of action

11. Team Player - operates cohesively as a member of the business team and of the finance and accounting team, including other personnel as needed; actively informs upwards, downwards, and sideways

12. Communication - Can clearly and concisely express concepts both in writing and verbally to all levels of the organization and can demonstrate leadership influence on behaviour of others

13. Organization - Strong skills required including the ability to coordinate the work and information gained from all resources; must possess the ability to handle several different projects or requests with a plan and structure, while keeping them as individual requirements

14. Creativity - Ability to develop new and unique approaches to new, existing, or traditional situations

15. Comprehension - Has ability to understand and interpret regulations, policies, and related technical information

16. Independent self-starter who can create own work plan and priorities without direct supervision; proactively accomplish tasks and communicate, not only react to requests
