Deputy Chief Financial Officer - Chemical Firm - CA

Our client is looking at a DY CFO to be based in mumbai.

Functional Responsibilities

- As CFO, provide leadership to the finance function, submit financial views on all deliberations regarding strategic as well as operational matters of the business and conduct reviews regularly.

- Manage the compliance framework to ensure adherence to all the regulatory requirements including the internal control framework, statutory accounting, audit reporting and cost audit.

- Provide leadership to the Strategic Plan, Annual Operating and Forecasting processes

- Ensure timely upward flow of information and the accuracy and reliability of the financial reporting and forecasting

- Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, presentation etc. for senior management

- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance of processes and procedures

- Work closely with the management team for developing the existing businesses and proposed new areas of investments.

- Needs to implement accounting best practices and should drive finance innovation and strategies.

The ideal candidate:

CA by qualification

- Minimum post qualification experience of 20 years.

- Candidate should have had experience in Financial and Management Accounting; taxation and MIS; SAP.

- The candidate should have experience in working with public limited company.
