Head - Department - Microbiology - Our client is a leading player in healthcare, running its own diagnostic centres pan India. as part of their expansion plans in the capital city, they are looking for an experienced and proven medical professional, to head their Microbiology department. The brief job specs are as below: - Expert in human bacteriology, human mycology, human virology, serology, mycobacteriology parasitology, clinical pathology - Trained in NABH, NABL standards - Trained in Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in medical laboratories as per ISO standards - Documentation, statistical analysis and assessment of clinical significance of results - Managing a team of junior and support staff in the lab, in terms of day to day operations and testings - Management of patients and handling sample collection, working in routine clinical microbiology lab - Experience with routine laboratory management - Experience with implementing infection control protocols - Biomedical waste management as per the statutory requirements. - Experience with QC of laboratory. Familiar with ISO standards for clinical laboratories. - Experience in compilation and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for laboratory management for the Microbiology department - Excellent Data compilation and report writing skills. - Effective time management and organizational skills. - Trained in clinical infectious diseases, infection control and patient safety. - Highly skilled in routine & amp; molecular microbiology techniques, clinical diagnosis and management of infectious diseases - Ability to prepare technical reports - Ability to manage and build a diverse team - Drive effective team bonding and ensure team members perform to the best of their abilities and skills - Constantly train and improve the delivery standards of the department - We are looking for certified medical practitioners (doctors) only.
