KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for carrying out demand planning, inventory management and distribution planning processes for the packaged goods portfolio across all sale channels Demand Planning : - Ensure improvement in forecast accuracy by : a. Implementation of statistical forecasting models b. Analytics led manual intervention to improve further upon baseline forecast - Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to understand schemes/promotions planned and incorporate it into the forecast - Drive continuous improvement by examining existing demand planning processes and making recommendations for improvement Inventory Management : - Manage inventory health - availability, replenishment and ageing - Collaborate with procurement team to ensure optimal order quantities by taking into account forecasts, historical trends and inventory targets Distribution Planning : - Manage distribution of SKUs from central warehouse by ensuring optimal allocation of inventory across locations - Ensure product availability across all locations by keeping a tab on inventory levels and planning distribution runs (scheduled/ad-hoc) - Ensure business continuity by managing the supply disruptions and demand surges STAKEHOLDERS : - Growth Team (Sales/Marketing), Operations, Procurement SKILLS REQUIRED : 3-5 years of relevant experience in demand and supply planning Strong working knowledge in forecasting, inventory management &amp; distribution Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for planning Problem Solving and Decision-making skills Proficiency in advanced excel is desirable Good communication skills Looking for candidates with similar experience from Tier 1 B schools _ prefer institutes specialization in supply chain and Operations - NITIE, SP Jain, IIT Bombay etc.
