Position title: Senior Consultant - Strategy & Operations - Finance Transformation   Major responsibilities & deliverables:   Key Responsibilities:  - Business Process Review - assess the current performance of the finance function and identify areas of improvements in efficiency and effectiveness  - Vision and Strategy for Finance - assist the finance function in defining a clear set of value propositions for finance roles and assist in the executing of its future Finance strategy  - Process Design - standardize and simplify processes to enable cost effective operations with the best use of technology  - Shared services - perform feasibility study on the scope of centralization and develop the business case to support the implementation. Assist the client in designing and building their own captive shared service centers or selecting and managing outsourcing providers  - Fast Close and Reporting - assess the current month-end closing and reporting process, identify areas of improvements and make recommendations to enable finance to close its books and report internally and externally faster  - Performance / KPI Management - assist finance to define an effective set of performance measures and KPIs which will focus the business on the delivery of strategy and business plans  - Budgeting, Planning and Forecasting - standardize and improve planning processes to create alignment and synergies, develop the vision for the end-state planning cycle with a clearly articulated process and system improvement roadmap including key milestones, expected benefits and impact of technology  Skills Required:  - Strong interpersonal skills with high levels of enthusiasm and a good team player.  - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment  - Demonstrated ability to lead by influence, including the delivery of cross functional and transformation projects  - Ability to empathize with clients and to work to demanding timeframes/deadlines.  - Excellent communication skills  Qualifications required:  - A Master degree from recognized Tier 1 University is preferred  - Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills  - Prospective Managers should also exhibit project management skills  - Good command of English is mandatory.  Location: Gurgaon / Bangalore / Mumbai  Experience required, Any Specific Industry / Company exposure:   - At least 6 years of relevant working experience in a leading Management consulting firm
