It is this understanding that allows us to develop advanced thought leadership and contribute as a strategic partner in development initiatives for infrastructure sectors both in the public and private space as well as for public sector in general.  Senior Manager - Infrastructure (Transportation & Logistics)  Roles and Responsibilities  A Senior Manager at Deloitte is expected to contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways, including:  - Project Delivery: Understand client requirements, project scope and deliverables; direct project delivery and client meetings under overall guidance of Partners; direct / guide team members on Assess-Design-Develop-Deliver-Monitor process in various modules / projects; team management and coordination with internal and external stakeholders etc.   - Overseeing work plans for client engagements and leading the delivery of defined project objectives (managing multiple projects), leveraging past domain experience and Deloitte tools & methodologies  - Business Development: Identification and development of work opportunities, client requirement analysis, development of EoI/proposals, client presentations, etc. achieving revenue targersPractice Development: Support and lead learning and development initiatives for the team/project/organization.  - Supporting the growth of talent within the practice through recruitment, mentorship and coaching. The candidate would be required to act as a counselor for select number of team members and be responsible for their career growth and development  - Participating in practice development and knowledge transfer activities  - Thought Leadership: Manage research, analysis and delivery of thought leadership reports (global and domestic)   - Working closely with the service line leader and leadership team to lead strategic initiatives / projects for GUIDe and track progress  - Coordinate with the rest of the Firm / global team to ensure successful pursuits / delivery of projects  Eligibility criteria and requirements:  - Excellent education background with post-graduation in Management (preferred) / other relevant streams (Transport Economics, CA, etc.)  - Consulting / advisory / managerial experience of more than 10 years in the transportation and logistics domain with respect to strategy formulation, market assessments, feasibility studies, investment decisions, operations, process design / improvement, policy design, business development, technology adoption for business in transportation & logistics, etc.  - Prior consulting / advisory experience in business development and client delivery (managing projects) in this space (infrastructure and public sector including donor agencies) would be an added merit  - Effective business communication (written and oral) skills are a critical requirement and the individual must be able to interact effectively with other members of the team as well as the client   - Problem-solving capabilities and an attitude to leverage resources to best solve / address the task at hand  - Ability to lead, manage and develop teams / members   - Willingness to travel and adaptability to change
