We are currently hiring Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Private Equity Origination for Mumbai Location.

Job Description

Deloitte India Joint Venture (DIJV) seeks to hire a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to support the UK Private Equity Origination team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed pitch documents to assist in buy-side pitch efforts; covering company, financial and market analysis as well as investment highlights.

- Support in identifying the deal pipeline, using secondary data sources and analyzing the company's performance.

- Prepare other documents to support the transaction including teasers, short company profiles, market snapshots, etc.

- Take complete ownership of project by delivering quality output on a timely basis; ensuring all end deliverables are thoroughly reviewed and are of highest quality.

Required Skills

- Experienced in writing transaction support documents including Information Memorandums, Pitchbook, Management presentations, teasers, etc.

- Ability to understand the dynamics of various sectors, including value chain, strategy and key performance indicators.

- Conversant with all types of secondary research through databases, company filings & reports, industry reports, as well as general research

- Good understanding of financial statements, valuations, multiples, ratios, etc.

- M&A / Transaction deal cycle experience/exposure with working knowledge on valuation methodologies. (financial forecast model, DCF, WACC, sensitivity analysis)

- Experience of using databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factset, Factiva, Thomson, etc.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and synthesize insights from data.

- Excellent communication skills with expertise in Microsoft office tools - Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education / Experience Requirements

- Relevant M&A experience at Corporate Finance / Investment Bank.

- CA qualified (ideally first time passes) or equivalent qualification (CFA, CPA, Masters in Finance).

- Relevant experience of minimum 2-4 years (post qualification).

- Excellent academic track record.
