Deloitte - Senior Executive/AM - Research Analyst - Corporate Financial Advisory International

- Perform secondary research to deliver products including company profiles, industry dashboards, news runs, M&A case studies, etc.

- Study and gather facts from multiple sources to assimilate required information into a concise format

- Carry out research on companies, industries, management, etc.

- Analyze the historical and projected financials of companies and perform financial valuation exercises

- Build models around financial ratios, valuations, comparables, transactions, etc.

- Active participation & contribution in team discussions on project specific areas

- Ensuring accuracy of information provided within stipulated time frame.

- Conversant with all types of secondary research through databases, company filings & reports, industry reports, as well as general research

- Ability to understand the dynamics of various sectors, including value chain, strategy and key performance indicators

- Good understanding of financial statements, valuations, multiples, ratios, etc.

- An ability to challenge current working methodologies to make them better

- Experience of using databases such as Capital IQ, Factset, Factiva, Bloomberg, One Source

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Proficient in working on MS Office
