Elevator pitch :

The US India Consulting has a position of a Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager to drive the learning and development efforts for approximately 1200 professionals in the Human Capital Consulting practice based in India. The US India Consulting organization is growing significantly (CAGR growth of more than 30% Y-o-Y), and there is a felt need for developing high caliber, professional services leaders to manage a profitable and client centric practice in 2020 and beyond. As a member of the Development Center of Excellence, you will act as a Development Advisor and partner for the USI Human Capital Consulting leadership.

What You Will Do :

As an incumbent in this role, you will drive strategic initiatives that directly support USI Consulting talent strategy. You will also be expected to deliver a portion of the core portfolio of learning programs in the career milestone space and lead various key learning and development initiatives and projects. You will be expected to drive the overall scope of work, influence effort from the wider Development CoE team, and take a lead in crafting conversations, co-creating/ designing interventions and delivering them.

Here are the detailed role expectations:

Strategy :

- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders across the US India Human Capital practice in the region

- Drive strategic initiatives that support the Consulting talent strategy (identified each year through strategic planning)

- Assist business leadership in making appropriate decisions around development and areas of focus, to align with the business and talent strategy for the function

- Align closely with the US Learning team, develop and sustain a high-touch learning culture and enable a consistent approach towards development

- Manage L&D investment through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management

- Use learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published and leveraged for decision making

Managing Relationships :

- Build deep relationships with key leaders and develop a strong understanding of their business needs and strategic priorities in order to provide effective service delivery

- Collaborate with the Lead Talent Business Advisors to provide solutions that address key business requirements, Core Talent Services for the delivery of learning programs, and other Talent areas on initiatives that impact the business

- Act as a performance consultant and manage key stakeholder relationships across Talent and USI/US Consulting

- Establish appropriate, timely and targeted communication cadence with business stakeholders to build a positive perception and ensure greater visibility, business connect, and solution orientation

- Work with the USI Consulting Dev CoE leader, drive the performance management process and development strategy for team members through regular coaching and mentoring

Operations :

- Support development of innovative and customized formal and informal solutions for large groups (by level or service line) and own the delivery of such solutions along with impact measurement, program revisions, communication etc.

- Lead program design and refresh initiatives and drive learner involvement in design and delivery of programs

- Simplify learning opportunities / make learning more planned and predictable for newer areas of the practice, alternate career models etc.

- Enhance operational efficiencies ensuring on time deliveries and coach availability, and leverage 3E framework for multiple career models in play within the service area

- Use financial management skills to plan and budget appropriately

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to make proposals related to design, development, and delivery

- Capture data and metrics around Talent Development programs and deliver insights and dashboards to leadership on the impact of all L&D investments

The team :

Within the larger HR/Talent services umbrella, the USI Consulting Development Center of Excellence team owns the Learning and Development charter for the USI Consulting practice. This team is eighteen-members strong and currently operates from Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gurgaon locations. The team aligns with US India Consulting to cover Technical, Industry, Professional and Leadership skills.

Key Stakeholders:

This role will require interaction with the following business and Talent leadership roles :

- USI Consulting Human Capital Development CoE Leader (direct reporting relationship)

- USI Consulting Lead Talent Advisor

- USI Consulting Human Capital Service Area Leaders

- USI Consulting Human Capital Service Line Chief-of-Staff

- USI Consulting Talent Business Advisory group

- US Consulting Human Capital Development CoE Team

Qualifications:

Required

Education: DTD (ISTD), MBA/ PGDBA/ PGDBM or equivalent degree

Experience: Overall 4+ years of work experience with minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience

Skills:

- Overall 4+ years of progressively complex experience in delivering internal / externally focused learning services in matrixed organizations focused on international markets

- At least 4 years experience in managing a learning organization and related learning budgets

- Experience with cross-border stakeholder management, vendor management, financial and project management

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good command over English; includes ability to translate data into insights and tell a logically structured, succinct, and compelling story tailored to your audience

- Ability to network with relevant stakeholders and build strong relationships

- Planning, budgeting, project management and execution skills

- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and present data-driven insights and trends

- Prior Consulting or Professional Services experience desired
