The key job responsibilities include the following :
- Member Firm Financial Reviews
Conduct structured financial review of identified member firms, including :
- Compliance with FIG reporting.
- Assess the reasonableness of financial statements reported, including the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow through designing and conducting audit and analytical type procedures.
- Review policies, processes, and systems, including the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control structure and processes
- Identify best practices and share with member firms as appropriate
- Create executive-level reports and power point presentations, typically for DTTL and member firm finance leadership
Team Management :
- Manage India team in analysis and review of member firm financial data
- Provide daily operational management of the India team, including quality control, delegation of analyses and data requests, and management of these to completion.
- Manage team communications process
- Regularly assesses and recommend to Senior Manager actions to ensure the continuous improvement of team processes, skill-sets, financial systems knowledge, and quality of output are the highest possible; and to mitigate any related risks.
- Have primary responsibility for India HR matters related to India team (including regular feedback/coaching and management of the India HR process (eg, mid-year and year-end reviews).
The key skills required :
- Strong understanding of financial accounting (including IFRS and US GAAP), financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows) and financial and operational metrics/KPIs (key performance indicators) used by professional services firms.
- Proficient in Excel for financial analytics.
- Program management experience and ability to actively identify needed work activities and dependencies. Identifies detailed actions required to mitigate risks and successfully deliver a project.
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication. Must be able to effectively communicate with member firm financial contacts, DTTL Finance team members, internal clients, and all levels of management of the firm.
- Proficient in word and power point for executive level reports and other deliverables.
- Develops expertise using DTTL reporting tools and systems, such as SAP BW

- Outstanding analytical, and quantitative aptitude, as well as advanced attention to detail, are required for success in this role.
