Vendor Program Management Specialist- Assistant Manager

Work you will do

In this role, you will provide support to the Vendor Management Lead by driving the vendor relationship and governance activities. This role will manage the associated back-end operational tasks and working with business stakeholders and CoRe team to provide vendor solutions which includes new vendor evaluation, existing vendor performance review and management of master service agreement, Statement of work and related work orders, marketplace business relationship, vendor payments tracking, and follow-up with program specialists team, AP and PC accordingly. The role is also to identify new vendors to help fulfil the needs of business, execution of agreements, amendments, and flow-downs where applicable by working closely with the SPS team and OGC as needed. Role requires partnering with Business teams, TRPM, SPS, AP, and Risk and OGC team where required. Some of your other responsibilities include:

- Independently manage incoming vendor and inquiries from stakeholders and external vendors.

- Perform tasks associated with the selection, procurement, onboarding, maintenance, and empanelment of the vendors.

- Proactively assess the risk elements in an engagement and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks

- Manage relationships with the empaneled vendors and conduct SRM meetings with suppliers along with CoRE Procurement.

- As an advocate to our business, work directly with SPS, OGC, and National Office of Independence and Risk on an as-needed basis to ensure all compliance activities are executed and tracked

- Lead channel vendor strategy by collaborating with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and business advisers

- Oversee the negotiation, execution of compliance activities, and securing agreements for services

- Partner with and advise stakeholders (specialists through partners) on appropriate use of vendors for their respective talent channel and provide leadership council on VRM's stance and decision

- Oversee, analyze, and manage vendor performance using firm standard tools

- Partner with internal infrastructure groups (CoEs, BAs, CTS, Procurement, OGC, Risk, and IT) to fulfill incoming requests and develop, deploy, and maintain program processes and tools

- Lead RFI/RFP activities in partnership with Procurement

- Define processes (submission through invoice payment) and identify/maintain a tool that can be used to facilitate the process

- Review and approve vendor service-level agreements and adhere to escalation procedures, as appropriate

- Review and approve internal and external surveys and interpret results to understand program's successes and areas for improvement

- Manage the storage of program documentation (i.e., deliverables, program guidelines, SPS tracking, contracts)

- Maintain DeloitteNet and SharePoint program site to ensure information included is accurate, timely, and necessary

- Collaborate with Talent India on invoice maintenance, serving as the third-level review, high-volume/spend, follow protocol, and escalate to leadership, as appropriate

- Review and help manage reports and information for program leadership and various talent leaders

- Monitor spend and metrics to generate reports and identify opportunities for cost reduction on a continuous basis

- Continually enhance and develop tools to be used to facilitate discussions/collaboration with vendors

- Partner with our National Recruiting Technology team on key initiatives and provide reporting support to the VRM leader

- Provide specialists with cross-training across vendor relationship management talent programs and ensure an appropriate back-up plan and mailbox maintenance review

- Effectively communicate progress to VRM program leader, CoEs, and BA stakeholders

- Collaborate with specialist to identify program enhancements and communication plans

- Reviewing productivity metrics on a periodic basis, reviewing trends, and ensure accurate utilization across specialists

Qualifications :

Required

- Graduate degree in any stream

- 6 to 9 years of work experience in vendor management

- Ability to work independently and lead efforts on a variety of projects in a high-volume, fast-paced, and sometimes nebulous environment required

- Navigating the complex organization

- Excellent organizational and planning skills

- Demonstrated strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a variety of levels, including senior leaders, both inside and outside of Deloitte

- Ability to handle client relationships (internally and externally)

Preferred :

- MBA - Human Resources (HR)

- Strong knowledge of understanding the contracts, clauses and interpretation will be an added advantage.
