Job level: Assistant Manager

Specific skill set required:

- Knowledge of advanced technologies and business trends

- Experience/ understanding and interest in organizational/ leadership topics

- Experience in primary research methods such as surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, etc. with the ability to lead from conception to deployment

- Ability to perform rigorous secondary research with hands-on experience of using databases such as Factiva, Hoovers, OneSource, and Thomson; research providers such as Gartner and Forrester; and aptitude for identifying and mastering new data sources quickly

- Experience in using statistical tools such as SAS, R, SPSS

- Understanding of design thinking and exposure to visualization tools such as Tableau

- Broad understanding of social media platforms is preferable- Twitter, LinkedIn, SlideShare. Needs to be tech-savvy and hands-on with some of these platforms.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Project management skills for complex research assignments extending to long durations and across geographies

- Experience working independently and as part of a virtual team

Key job responsibilities include the following:

The position provides opportunities to:

a. Help develop signature perspectives on campaign-related topics such as Industry 4.0, behavioral economics and management, 3D printing, Internet of things, Future of work, Future of mobility, etc. through:

- Editing, analyzing and synthesizing data

- Reviewing and critiquing drafts to bring them up to quality standards

- Assisting in the development and lifecycle of research reports

b. Develop expertise in one or more technology trends OR organizational leadership/ talent topics

c. Play an active role in producing and deploying thought leadership through the design and execution of world-class research;

d. Support the CIR leaders and other thought leaders in Deloitte in the design and execution of their initiatives;

e. Work with internal eminence producers to align campaign-related efforts, and to cultivate relationships with interested practitioners;

f. Research solutions, frameworks, and methods to address specific project needs;

g. Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies and articulate their impact on sectors, business functions

h. Identify trends by tracking news articles and vendor announcements and analyzing investment and market data

i. Deliver internal and external presentations, live and via webcasts, on campaign-related topics

Qualifications:

- Any Graduate & MBA

- Preferred: Master's Degree

- Experience: 6+ years

Special skills/professional experience:

- Experience in technology research, business analysis, organizational talent, strategy consulting or IT transformation programs

- Subject matter expertise in at least one of the campaigns (Industry 4.0, 3D printing, IoT, Future of Work, Mobility, etc.), gained through either prior research or work experience;

- Exposure to statistical tools such as SAS, R, SPSS

- Strong verbal communication skills

- Strong writing skills - narrative, appealing, succinct. Should be able to convey complex research ideas in a compelling and easier way through business writing. Experience in storyboarding is required.

- Experience working with US clients and teams is a plus. Ability to work across cultures is important.

- Self-driven and motivated; strong team player

- Excellent networking skills with the ability to drive consensus

- Coaching capabilities, particularly around the research and writing process

Work Timings - 11.00 am - 8.00 pm
