Assistant Manager - Global Financial Services Industry (FSI) Nerve Center - Deloitte Support Services India Private Limited - Hyderabad

Seeking a professional to serve our Global Crown Jewel/Global Strategic clients with quality and distinction and make a measurable, tangible, and attributable impact across FSI's four sector - Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, Investment Management and Real Estate.

Through FSI, Deloitte professionals around the world support their clients locally while drawing upon the firm's considerable global resources.

Work you will do :


The Industry/Sector Content/Network Assistant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the FSI Nerve Center. The role has direct supervision of Nerve Center staff and indirectly provides guidance to Market Intelligence and KX Help staff aligned to FSI. Content/Network assistant manager closely collaborates with other stakeholders inside and outside the KS and GC&I organizations, including Global and member firm industry/sector leadership and teams, Marketing & Communications, Insights, and other teams focused on GCJ/GS clients. In addition, this role works closely with the Nerve Center leadership to lead/support cross-industry initiatives as well as continuous improvement programs.

- Work with NC leadership to execute annual plans/priorities for delivering high quality issue-based sector/industry deliverables and knowledge to GCJ/GS clients

- Provide a central point of coordination with other member firms, teams and resources to support client team efforts

- Support the design and execution of NC menu services, tools and special projects

- Lead/Support cross-industry initiatives and continuous improvement programs working closely with NC Leadership

- Work with KS team to deliver account outreach and ensure target customers understand the full set of KS offerings, including the Nerve Center

Capabilities: Drive Service Excellence :

- Support NC leadership to implement processes, standards, and guidelines related to Client Service Excellence across Industry/Sector content/network services

- Lead/support conversations with LCSPs and account team requestors to clarify business requirements, ensure accurate understanding of scope, manage client expectations on available content and offer alternatives in case of limited/unavailable content

- Manage NC team responses to ensure proper scope, focus, consistency, and quality--data accuracy and comprehensiveness, structure, logic, and visual presentation--of products and services. Contribute to the development of responses

- Work with industry/sector leads, SKLs, Market Intelligence and other members of KS to create, curate, customize, and package account-specific content to directly service the GCJ/GS needs; work with knowledge team to enable effective end-to-end contribution of content

- Implement overall NC communications plan by developing and distributing success stories to industry/sector community including member firm practice leaders and LCSPs and others as defined

- Develop and execute internal communications needed to support awareness of industry sectors- resources, programs, and results

- Understand and monitor market trends and issues, key global players, Deloitte client relationships, and the competitive environment in the industry/sector

- Support global industry / sector leaders and other industry team members with special content projects as needed

Talent Management: Build High-Performance Team :

- Guide a team of NC staff to deliver exceptional services/product and drive continuous improvement

- Oversee the recruiting, on-boarding, goal setting, professional development, and review of team members in close collaboration with NC Leadership

- Support NC leadership to identify/develop sector/industry and core competency-specific training and development programs to drive organic progression of capabilities

- Coordinate across KS on performance management processes

- Foster a culture that drives intense client focus, collaboration, and new thinking

Value Delivery: Enable Impact Measurement/Continuous Improvement :

- Work with NC Leadership to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives by soliciting feedback from NC clients for future actions, surveying decision makers on effectiveness/quality of efforts, and providing recommendations for improvement in operations / approach

- Curate and contribute content developed or acquired into KX (following standard KS processes and procedures)

- Report common metrics to monitor, report on, and evaluate Nerve Center activities and accomplishments

- Produce management reports and dashboards as required

- Support the development of ROI measures, assessments, processes for updating and measurement

Network: Build Relationships/Coordinate with Adjacent Organizations :

- Leverage Subject Matter Specialists, Knowledge Services, GC&I, DTTL groups, other member firm team, etc. to deliver on the needs of clients

- Share best practices with other Content/Network leads, Knowledge Services and Industry/Sector teams

Location- Hyderabad

Timings- 11 AM to 8 PM

The Team :

Global Industry Nerve Centers (NC) help LCSPs and their teams enhance client relationships as well as market, sell, and deliver services that drive value for their client. Nerve Centers do this by connecting LCSPs and their teams with industry intellectual property and sector expertise as well as directly supporting LCSPs and teams with research and information to develop client service strategy and pursuit support.

Required :

- Bachelor's Degree in business-related field preferred

- 6-8 years of relevant professional experience, preferably with a professional services firm

- 2-3 years of FSI experience is helpful

- FSI knowledge and strong ability to understand business requirements and differing industry terms across the globe

- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams

Preferred :

- MA/MS/MBA/PGDM desired

Skills :

Required:

- Mastery of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)

- Strong project management and time management skills; ability to work independently under pressure, and on multiple assignments while maintaining top quality deliverables

- Outstanding research and analytical skills: ability to synthesize large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data and integrate into meaningful reports and recommendations

- Ability to review a large volume of content such as qualifications, thought ware and expertise and curate into relevant lists

- Executive presence, poise, professionalism owing to virtual & in-person interactions with Global Industry/Sector Leadership, LCSPs, etc.

- Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills. Writing skills are essential as a large percentage of NC deliverables are written emails and associated written deliverables. Strong verbal communication skills are essential for interfacing with Global Industry / Sector leadership, LCSPs and account team members across all levels, Global Operations teams, member firm leadership, KS team members, etc.

- Capable of building effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple teams, business areas, and geographies, serving as a key point of insight around Global Industries- strategic perspectives and goals

- Comfortable with creating reasonable structure to meet the objectives of the task at hand in ambiguous environment often with limited information

- Ability to multi-task and deliver on portions of multiple projects in a fast-paced, intense, results-oriented environment

- High degree of endurance, responsiveness, and flexibility to work through multiple iterations of work and quickly adapt to constantly varying priorities and subject matter

- Ability to navigate a global, matrixed, and often virtual environment for effective outcomes
