Deloitte - Assistant Manager - Data Analytics

We have requirements in our Data Analytics Service line at an Assistant Manager Role. We are looking at candidates who are keen to make a career oath in Data Analytics and come with the same background.

Responsibilities:

- Problem solving critical client issues using technology to deliver valued results

- Balancing multiple projects and other responsibilities

- Loading, cleansing, transforming, verifying, graphing & visualising and testing client data

- Querying and mining large data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information

- Perform data audits, reconciliation and quality assurance duties.

- Project management understanding / experience and/or proven ability to deliver across a variety of teams

- Develops visually compelling presentations that communicate the relevant insights to stakeholders in an easily consumable manner

- Communicating effectively to all levels of management.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems.

- Ability to work within firm deadlines

- 5+ years of professional experience with at least 3-4 years of hands-on coding / programming experience

- Highly proficient skills in SQL programming.

- Statistical packages (R, SAS etc.)

- Beginner to intermediate level skills in one or more of: QlikView / Tableau

- Analysis & Reporting: MS SQL (SSIS, SSRS)

- Excellent Microsoft Office skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)

- A solid understanding of financial matters and terminology

- Proven ability to effectively influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within Deloitte and to effectively operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving team environment.

Desirable Skills:

- Overseas work/study experience or experience of working with overseas teams remotely from India.

- Experience in coding solutions using other programming languages (e.g. VB/VBA/ ASP .NET/ C/C++)

Education:

- Masters degree from a reputed institute in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar quantitative discipline

- Although not essential, a secondary qualification in Business, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering disciplines will be highly regarded.
