Deloitte India Joint Venture (DIJV) seeks to hire an Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager to support the Global Financial Advisory Services team.

- Write and prepare transaction related documentation and marketing materials including teasers, information memorandum, pitch books, corporate profiles, and market data and analyses

- Identify potential financial and strategic buyers; perform in-depth company and industry research supporting specific client engagements and marketing opportunities

- Deliver and manage projects on various corporate finance initiatives and products including company profiles, industry dashboards, news runs, M&A case studies, etc.

- Build financial models, including relative valuation and other valuation assessments

- Involve in identifying leads and opportunities. Participate in marketing of core technical strength of the team through introduction of new/innovative products. Leveraging best practices across geographies and introduction of similar products across regions

- Takes complete ownership of project by delivering quality output on a timely basis; ensures all end deliverables are thoroughly reviewed and are of highest quality

- Serve as critical member in the execution and management of research and advisory projects

- Mentor project team assignees by providing timely feedback to them

- A minimum of 4-8 years transactions related experience in a corporate finance environment from a captive wall street, boutique or middle-market investment bank with a track record of academic and professional success

- Strong academic qualification (CA, CFA, CPA, Masters in Finance/Management/Economics); MBA from an accredited college/university preferred

- Superior financial modeling, research, and financial analysis skills. Experience / exposure with working knowledge on valuation methodologies (relative, financial ratios, DCF, WACC, sensitivity analysis)

- Proficiency with financial research tools; experience of using databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva, Thomson One, etc.

- Generalist sector exposure or industry experience is strongly desired
