Our Data Analytics practice uses innovative tools to analyses vast amounts of data in order to proactively or reactively identify opportunities for revenue enhancement, cost optimization, risk mitigation, forensic investigation and strategic advice for our clients. The group specializes in electronic data sourcing, optimization, analysis, interpretation, prediction and modelling.

Our Data Analytics team is seeking Analysts who are passionate about using technology to solve business problems. Ideally you will be someone who displays initiative, lateral thinking and have a keen eye for problem solving.

Responsibilities:

- Problem solving critical client issues using technology to deliver valued results

- Balancing multiple projects and other responsibilities

- Perform large-scale data analysis and develop effective statistical models for segmentation, classification, optimization, time series, etc.

- Build models using standard and advanced statistical techniques - such as logistic regression, multi-nominal regression, agent based modelling, discrete event simulation, CHAID, text mining and clustering analysis.

- Identify actionable insights; suggest recommendations effectively communicating results to stakeholders

- Loading, cleansing, transforming, verifying, graphing & visualising and testing client data primarily on MS SQL platform

- Querying and mining large data sets to discover transaction patterns, uncover anomalies and filter for targeted information using MS SQL

- Prepare written analysis and present findings, recommendations and potential raise decision questions to internal and external clients

- Utilize various analytic software tools (SAS, KXEN, SPSS, R) to perform advanced analytics

- Ensure accuracy of results produced as a result of data analysis.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

- 5 to 6 years of experience required in related field (i.e. Marketing Analytics, Operations Analytics, Quantitative/Qualitative Analysis, etc.) or 3 to 5 years of experience with advanced degree (MS/MA)

- Academic or job-related experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches (or equivalent)

- Experienced user of advanced analytic tools such as SAS, R, SPSS etc.

- Preferably work experience in logistics / supply chain, sales/ marketing or pricing

- Highly proficient skills in SQL programming

- Demonstrated success presenting complex findings (qualitative and quantitative) in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action

- Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve problems.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and drive change, and collaborate effectively with a variety of individuals and organizations

Educational Qualifications:

- Postgraduate degree or PhD in related discipline strongly preferred (i.e. applied mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related field).
