This provides businesses with a unique opportunity to realize the full potential of their web site improve and optimize various paths of purchases, tools and layout and placement that improve customer experience and enable us to do business better online.   - Advanced tools and techniques like Behavioral targeting allows us to learn and understand customer's choices and preferences dynamically and provide customized content to different customers that serves exactly what they are looking for and thereby influence people to buy more often.   Work location: Position is based in Bangalore  General over view of work in the group:  - A wide spectrum of data is captured and tied together to measure and analyze the larger picture of business's performance. This includes Clickstream data (for traffic, pathing, abandonment, purchase behavior etc).   Day to day work involves:  - Testing and Behavioral Targeting of Customers, Optimize various Purchase Paths in Dell.Com, Optimize Online Demand Generation spend and ROI, Daily and Weekly Reporting of Business Performances, Internal Search optimization, Improve Search Ranking of Dell.com, Performance tracking and optimization of presence of Dell in Social Media, Make Support.Dell.Com easy and user friendly for customers, Merchandize and Site changes to increase S&P sales globally  Area of Responsibility:  - Work with testing and analytics team to identify & track online KPI, provide actionable insights and recommendation to improve online business performance.  - Interface regularly with regional / global initiative leaders and provide clear analysis and presentations to stakeholders.   - Work with regional teams to identify testing/ analytics hypothesis, provide clear analysis/ next steps on tests undertaken.   Main Tasks:  - Maintain knowledge of the Dell Websites, marketing campaigns and web-analytics programs.   - Understand metrics used in online, learn web analytics tools and the nuances with data in each tool.   - Create measurement, reporting and analysis to track the necessary KPIs. Use analytical methods to interpret and provide insights on online performance.   - Take complete ownership of projects, work with regional/global leads to define next steps and project road map.   - Create processes to learn and interact with regional teams, work closely with DIS team members to take learning from other regions to different regional stakeholders.   - Able to manage complex assignments & projects  - Able to use business knowledge, data knowledge and domain knowledge to provide ongoing business insights 	 Craft summary of Recommendations to Management:  - Perform quick ad-hoc analyses and communicate key findings to management in a crisp way  - Able to put together thoughts in an executivized format: like learnings on tools, ideas/roadmap etc 	 - Identify Opportunities for Business Impact & drive these projects to completion  Education: 	 - PG - MBA from a Premier Institute with an Engineering degree  Experience: 	 Mandatory:  - Total 4+ Years’ experience (for Advisor)/6 + for Senior Advisor  - Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting  - Candidate should have played a role where he/she has been accountable for delivery within a business area  - Project management skills - Prioritized amongst multiple objectives and demonstrated flexibility during the course of the engagement  - Dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery, worked in large cross functional teams  Desirable:	  - Exposure to Online testing & targeting, including running beta tests, demonstrating a data driven approach to developing business ideas for site & traffic improvements etc, will be accorded a high weight-age.  Domain: Preferably worked in analytics or business consulting. Web-Analytics/Online Marketing is desirable.  Tools: 	 Mandatory: 		 - Expert level knowledge of general purpose analytics tools & applications such as MS Excel, SAS or STATISTICA. 		 - Basic knowledge of SQL/Business Objects  Desirable:	 		 - Exposure to Omniture, Insight or any other web-analytics tools  Skills: 	 Mandatory: 		 - Strongly analytical skills, ability to understand business situations and provide data backed analysis.  		 - High degree of business and financial acumen  		 - Hands-on experience with data analysis tools.  Desirable: 		 - Dealt with large sets of data in the past
