As a key part of the Biz Client Product Marketing team, the position is responsible for meeting launch and sustaining objectives of the assigned product LOB.

- Primary responsibility focused on product programs operations - covering the entire product life cycle from conception through introduction to product end of life. This role involves working closely with Product Launch Managers, SCM, DMA, eClerx, and NPI in driving successful new product launches and maintains day to day operation of sustaining products.

- Maintain active engagement with regional counterparts including but not limited to Brand segments, Cost Planning, Pricing, Supply Chain Planning and Operations, General Procurement and Sales.

- In addition to the Product Operations, this role will also lead a part of product marketing for a part of commercial client solution business.

- A successful candidate will get groomed to take on bigger product marketing responsibility for commercial client business.

Detailed Roles and Responsibilities:

Central Coordination of Launch Activities:

- Leading and coordinating the launch program activity for the platforms I manage, coordinating and monitoring all key deliverables, escalating critical needs as required, calling out any risks to the schedule and coordinating recovery activities as needed.

Executing Key Launch Metrics: On Time, Accurate, Complete:

- Launches must be complete, accurate and on time. Product Line Operations will not be the driver of misses on those three key metrics.

- Product Line Operations team members will coordinate with all other teams as needed to meet target dates and deliverables and will assist those other teams where possible in meeting their related launch deadlines. All offerings are to be fully tested and complete at launch, with no errors or issues driven by Product Line Operations action or inaction.

Consistency between Programs and Platforms:

- Product Line Operations team members will coordinate between LOB and Regional Team to ensure that globally consistent product structures are an element of all launches. Consistent structuring of SKU/Option/Module will exist within LOBs, within regions, and globally. This includes descriptions, launch timing, the leveraging of consistent messaging, etc.

Post Launch Reviews & Key Learnings:

- Product Line Operations team members will conduct comprehensive operational lessons-learned reviews 30 to 90 days post launch for each program or group of programs they control and will involve all operational teams involved in launch efforts, including Core Team members.

Complexity Reduction:

- Product Line Operations team members shall work to reduce end-customer complexity whenever possible. Each product generation should represent an improvement in complexity from the point of view of our end customer.

Presales Support:

- Product Line Operations team members will be the first line support for the regional presales organizations (in APJ, this refers to the Brand Managers) and will provide accurate and timely responses to any question escalated from the Presales team(s) where possible. Where necessary, Product Line Operations team members will direct the questions to more appropriate resources

Other Behaviors:

- Product Line Operations team members will provide constructive feedback and will focus on satisfying customers, rewarding achievement and success, and accepting and leveraging feedback to improve our processes and team.

- Product Line Operations team members will maintain compliance with Dell's Code of Conduct and complete all requisite ethics and compliance training courses on time by the communicated deadline.

Role Requirements:

- 4-5 years of experience in a product marketing / marketing / Brand role preferably in PC industry (desirable but not mandatory).

- MBA is highly preferred

- Strong organizational and planning skills.

- Excellent presentation and influencing skills.

- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Fluency in English (spoken and written).

- High degree of integrity.

- Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced and demanding environment.
