Dell's Talent & Culture Learning & Development team is currently looking to recruit a Facilitator/Trainer of our flagship Leadership Development curriculum in the United Kingdom. Working as part of our experienced, multi-cultural, region-wide EMEA L&D team, this person will be passionate about enabling our leaders to inspire and unlock the potential of the people they lead.

In our global Talent & Culture Centre of Excellence we design, prepare and deliver training and development programs for our people leaders, and their teams, at all levels of leadership from new leaders to senior directors. We also help to shape learning priorities within Dell and work consultatively with other HR professionals to share knowledge and implement organizational development programs. Our facilitators are key contributors to developing inspiring leaders at Dell and can make a tangible difference to the employee experience of every team member. A strong candidate will bring knowledge and experience of adult learning and instructional design, a passion for developing people, commitment to positive customer experience, and an agility to adjust and apply multiple facilitation techniques in a fast-changing environment. Leadership experience will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver highly interactive, engaging and meaningful leadership training sessions, while maintaining a high level of energy throughout the delivery

- Model facilitation excellence and assist in training others to deliver our learning programs and workshops, both in person and virtually, to all leaders globally

- Challenge learners to apply and cascade new skills post-workshop

- Apply experiential learning principles and a - workshop mindset- to deliver transformative, multi-modal opportunities for learning within and beyond the classroom

- Manage daily logistics of running training programs including classroom set up and breakdown, coordination of training facilities and materials, communication with participants, and post-workshop collection of evaluation/feedback

- Build and maintain strong and meaningful business relationships with internal stakeholders at all levels to communicate and shape leadership development strategy, and build individual and functional credibility

- Evaluate the effectiveness and impact of training programs to improve content quality and participant experience

- Partner with subject matter experts to design and adapt content across regions and client groups.

Essential Requirements

- Brings innovation, energy and passion around learning and development and leadership concepts

- Strong presence with exceptional communication skills across all levels of the organization

- Expertise with traditional classroom, experiential, and new digital forms of training

- Ability to adapt curriculum/programs to alternative delivery channels using new technology

- A background in learning and development with 5-7 + years of experience delivering curriculum to a global audience, including leaders

- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment and lead through ambiguity and change.

- Excellent time management and prioritization skills with an eye for detail

- Familiarity and comfort with technology to support digital and virtual learning

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across a virtual team

- Willingness and ability to travel within and beyond the UK, as required

Desirable Requirements

- 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years with a Master's degree or 3+ years with a PhD or equivalent experience

- Experience in leading or managing teams and/or supporting senior leaders


- Confidence, political savviness, gravitas and unflappability to engage, conduct business with and facilitate and present to senior leaders

- Certification in professional development / assessment tools
