The incumbent would be responsible for Marketing for the India Commercial. He would own the Commercial brand for Dell in India. He & his team would lead the marketing activities for the EUC & ESG group & be responsible for management of Dell’s product portfolio – Client & Enterprise.

Broader responsibilities would be to oversee strategic planning, development and coordination of all portfolio and product definition activities as well as the working with team’s on marketing communications programs to promote the sale of Dell’s Client, Enterprise & Solutions portfolio.

He/she would drive the market share for EUC & ESG portfolio and its associated P&L including Market analysis, roadmap definition and funding, and aligning marketing & GTM activities designed to increase sales growth. Develop and implement product related programs and activities related to product/brand management , product development and pricing. Extensively work with cross functional teams e.g. Demand supply, pricing, forecast & product group to ensure seamless offering of e2e solutions capability.

Other Responsibilities:

- Drives strategic initiatives in India market to ensure LOB penetration

- Responsible for executing on functional and business goals for the group.

- Improve the Solutions capability of India Sales force

- Analyze & addresses problems across different Geo’s of the India business.

- Responsible for meeting India Commercial team goals and objectives

- Should use technical expertise and extensive industry experience to formulate strategies

- Oversee the analysis and evaluation of key market statistics and customer requirements to define product strategies and identify product opportunities to expand market share.

People Manager responsibilities:

- Manage the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.

- Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.

- Communicates and translates Dell vision/strategy to staff.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduation + Postgrad/MBA from a premier institute with least 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, including at least 5 years of people manager experience

- Prior experience in handling enterprise (server, storage, networking) products sales & marketing is necessary

- Extensive understanding of technology and the IT industry / competitor landscape in the country

- Strong Leadership skills -- Ability to Build Effective teams and manage/develop Direct Reports

- Good Business and Financial Acumen

- Excellent communication skills.

- High Drive for Results to consistently meet and exceed the business objectives
