Job Description Summary
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Analyzes business data, providing assessments of trends, identifying and explaining variances from goals
- Elicits and documents business requirements to produce meaningful insights and metrics, identifying trends and insights that improve business performance
- Designs, develops and implements business intelligence dashboards and reports to facilitate data review and analysis Proactively analyzes trends, causes and variances Champion process improvements, best practices and knowledge sharing within the organization as it pertains to business intelligence, analytics and data integration capabilities
- Maintains databases, cleansing and validating data as needed Develops database logic to extract required information for reporting
- Creates and distributes both routine and complex ad-hoc reports
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Formulates conclusions and provides summary analysis and interpretation for leadership
- Consults with business to identify new reports or data needs to support business decisions Simplifies and standardizes reports at regular intervals
- Defines and determines metrics definitions from a global perspective Designs, drives and implements reporting to support the business
- Collaborates with other groups Provides feedback to help improve processes Monitors industry trends
Additional Job Description :
Core Skillsets - SQL, Excel and familiarity on any BI tool (Power BI, Microstrategy, BusinessObjects, Tableau, etc)
Expectation is that a resource with mid-to-high-end SQL skillset can be ramped upto to do SSRR/SSIS or Tableau.
Education: Graduation mandatory, post-graduation preferred
