Practice Description : Dell is one of the largest computer manufacturers in the world. In order to achieve its business goals we at DGA, partner and drive strategy at different stages:
- All functions above design and develop strategy and reports within respective organizations. The teams are structured by functions and have a very strong and diverse pool of talent coming from premier schools (IIT- s, IIM- s, etc) and diverse expertise and skill sets (PhDs, MBAs, Engineers, Statisticians, etc). Area of Responsibility The role will involve working with the various partners to the verticals. The areas of responsibility will be defined within each verticals
Day to day work involves :
- Daily and Weekly Reporting of Business Performance; Automation of reports to build efficiency
- Interacting with various business owners to understand the issues and corrective actions
- Supporting initiatives that will enable business objectives
- Interface regularly with regional / global initiative leaders and provide clear analysis and presentations to stakeholders
- Take complete ownership of projects, work with regional/global leads to define next steps and project road map.
- Able to use business knowledge, data knowledge and domain knowledge to provide ongoing business insights

Mandatory :
Strong analytical skills
- Strong business acumen, ability to assess impact on business performance
- Excellent articulation / communication (written and verbal)
- Effective handling of ambiguous situations
- High adaptability to changing requirements / customers dynamics / work demands
Desired :
Ability to provide data backed analyses
- Knowledge of SQL or strong ability to conceptualize and develop tools for data analysts
- Product and technology knowledge (PC centric / Semiconductor related / Mobile devices) would be an added advantage

Experience Desired :
Experience of 3+ years of full time work experience in large cross functional teams
Worked as a business analyst in Analytics/ Business Intelligence/ Consulting
Experience having accountability for business delivery to multiple stakeholders a must
Project management skills - Prioritized amongst multiple objectives and demonstrated flexibility during the course of the engagement
Dealt with multiple stakeholders as part of work delivery, worked in large cross functional teams
Domain : Preferably analytics, business consulting, or finance
Education : Master's degree in Management or business administration from a Premier Institute with 4 to 6 years of experience in the analytics field
Tools Desired :
- Knowledge of SAS, SPSS and analytics tools
- Misc Information - Role is region centric: Daily interactions with partners on mail & phone and adjustable working hours to synchronize with respective time zones may be required
- This will be an Individual contributor role with no management responsibility
